This is my third time coming to Chateau Elans Tasting Room and it was the best visit yet!

"This is my third time coming to Chateau Elans Tasting Room and it was the best visit yet! My sister and I were there to celebrate her 30th birthday and we had an amazing time. The wine tasting experience is very relaxed. You check in, get your tasting guide and off you go. You get 7 tastings. I do wish they had a tip jar but you can still tip the staff directly if youd like. The manager let us sit in the private tasting room and we really enjoyed have our own space while drinking wine. The meat and cheese tray is one of my favorites. Kia, who was working at the tasting counter was amazing. She gave us the best wine recommendations and really made our experience and time there even better. I believe all the employees need to be at that level of knowledge. When we were leaving she ran outside w 3 glasses of sparkling and dessert for my sister's 30th!!! It was so sweet and just ended the trip right! We will absolutely be back and hop to see Kia again!"

Wine Tasting!

"The first session was touring the winery, getting to know the story of how the winery came into existence, and its vines. The Simalea was awesome! Very informative, funny, entertaining. She's knowledgeable about the wines and what to pair them with. There were six different wines for tasting also different meat, cheese, and crackers available to go with wines. Love the whole experience and would do it again."

Amazing experience.

"Amazing experience. Amanda was a great "bartender" and did a wonderful job describing the different wines and recommending ones she thought we'd like based off our palate. We'll be back for sure."

Hidden Gem

"We have been visiting this gem since 2011, that being said in 2024 we met Trey (AKA "Eric" 😂 after a few glasses lol) and he is a true sport. He's very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy yourself. Excellent service definitely makes the experience better 🥂"

The Grape That Built a Legacy

Chateau Elan’s story began with a sip of sweet muscadine wine, made from Georgia’s official state grape. Inspired by its abundance, founders Don and Nancy Panoz set out to grow classic European varietals—but the region’s climate proved challenging. With the arrival of winemaker Simone Bergese, the winery embraced its Southern roots. By championing muscadine and expanding the wine program, Bergese helped transform Chateau Elan into Georgia’s largest wine producer.
