Photography Policy

As proud supporters of the Georgia Film Office, Chateau Elan has served as the backdrop for countless television shows, feature films, commercials, and creative projects. With over 3,500 acres of picturesque landscapes and distinctive architecture, our property continues to inspire artists, filmmakers, and photographers alike.

Guests are welcome to capture personal memories during their stay—cell phone photography for non-commercial use is encouraged throughout the resort.

For professional or staged sessions, please note the following:

All sessions must be booked at least one week in advance through our online booking system

An hourly location fee is required at the time of booking

A completed liability waiver and location agreement must be submitted prior to the session and presented upon arrival

Photographers are not provided as part of the session

Proposals & Special Moments

Chateau Elan provides a stunning backdrop for proposals, engagement moments, and personal celebrations. Guests are welcome to capture these memories during their stay, and cell phone photography for non-commercial use is encouraged throughout the resort.

If you plan to include professional photography, videography, or a staged proposal setup, the experience must be reserved in advance through our photography booking system and is subject to a location fee. For those seeking a more elevated proposal, private spaces throughout the resort may be reserved for an additional fee, offering a more intimate and thoughtfully arranged setting for your special moment.
