We are lucky to receive interest from journalists and influencers of all levels and outlets. With limited availability, we may not able to accommodate all of the requests we receive and, therefore, give priority to those with audiences that are most relevant to our resort. We encourage all guests to take personal photography while enjoying overnight accommodations at our resort. All images taken by guests, with a handheld camera or cellphone camera, are allowed free of charge, as long as the images and videos are used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Camera accessories that could potentially impede foot traffic are not permitted; this includes, but is not limited to, tripods, monopods, lighting setups, large reflectors, and staging shots.
For more extensive or non-guest photography and videography, a location fee applies. Location fees range in price, depending on the scope of work, day of the week, time of day, and desired locations.
Due to the volume of inquiries, all photography and videography requests must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to proposed shoot date. All participants will be required to complete a liability waiver, location agreement, and submit a credit card authorization form, prior to the start of the shoot. You will be required to show all signed and co-signed documentation to on-site personnel.
Chateau Elan has the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold or withdraw consent to photograph and video (or to reproduce photographs or video) of the hotel and related property. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever. All trademarks, service marks, logos, images, and facilities of Chateau Elan are the sole property of Chateau Elan and may not be used, reproduced, displayed or distributed without written consent.
Photography Policy
We are a proud supporter of the Georgia Film Office and have served as the backdrop for a number of television shows, feature length films, commercials, and more. We are thrilled to have over 3,500 acres of beautiful and unique settings to inspire artists of all levels.
As a private property, and to protect the privacy of our guests, Chateau Elan maintains a strict policy against the unauthorized use of its grounds – inclusive of all interior and exterior spaces – unless explicit written permission is granted.
