Featuring Chef Kevin Gillespie

Indulge in the artistry of Chef Kevin Gillespie, a culinary virtuoso celebrated for his MICHELIN Guide-recommended Gunshow restaurant and beloved for his appearances as a finalist and fan favorite on Bravo’s “Top Chef.” His passion for Southern cuisine, inspired by his grandmother’s kitchen, finds its ultimate expression at Chateau Elan. Guests will not only savor his artisanal tastings but also have the unique opportunity to interact with him, each experience a testament to his dedication to culinary excellence and the joy of crafting unforgettable flavors.

Exquisite Stations

Embark on a gastronomic journey through a variety of decadent stations, each a showcase of our talented chefs’ mastery:

  • Revel in Sous Chef June Jang’s demonstration of whole salmon fabrication and wild mushroom risotto with basil pesto sauce. Witness the skillful techniques, from skinning and pin-boning the salmon to cooking risotto and making pesto sauce from scratch.
  • Join Culinary Studio Chad Hicks in creating three unique vinaigrettes—balsamic, herb, and lemon honey. Each guest can take home their favorite vinaigrette, bottled by Chateau Elan.
  • Delight in smoked herb-crusted Wagyu tenderloin and vegan cannelloni with Banquets Sous Chef Radley King. Experience firsthand the techniques of searing and assembling these exquisite dishes.
  • Discover the intricate artistry behind Japanese rice balls (Onigiri) filled with salmon, dried bonito flakes, tuna, and pickled plum. Banquets Chef James Mundy will also prepare Japanese spare ribs with plum sauce and braised wings with lemon pepper, soy, garlic, and ginger.
  • Learn how to build your own charcuterie board with Banquets Sous Chef Ayoub Yassa. Enjoy small bites like shrimp ceviche, fried deviled eggs, and ratatouille caprese slider. Watch the demonstration on creating roses from salami and pepperoni.
  • Satisfy your sweet tooth with Pastry Chef Joebeth Marin-Gaddy’s luscious Mississippi Mud Pie, chocolate truffles, and apple cider cart. The mud pie layers brownie, vanilla bean cheesecake, dark chocolate mousse, whipped cream, and whiskey caramel sauce, all topped with a chocolate truffle.
