Wine List

White Wines

An inspired pale with silver hints, and a delicate balance of citrus aromas melded with sweet cedar oak notes.  The wine is crisp, round, and soft with excellent acid structure and its silky texture delicately caresses the tongue.  Encompassing many of the traits from the new world's fruity vintages with a hint of the old world's creamy oaky wines of the '80s'm Belle has a seductive, long fresh lemon finish that leaves your palate divinely refreshed.

A superb aperitif, Belle also pairs perfectly with shellfish, many varieties of seafood, and poultry.

American Chardonnay
Crisp, dry white well balanced with pear, apple, hay, and pineapple flavors.

The elegant dry Chardonnay is a true varietal representation of the king of white grapes and has been fermented and aged in French oak barrels. The combined flavors of fruit and butter enhance any fish, chicken or veal dish, as well as rich sauces and select cheeses.

Red Wines

An intense red with Scarlet hues, this wine has a lush, round, red berry fruit nose with earthy overtones balanced with soft cedar oak characters.

On the palate, Scarlet is bold and upfront, a true hybrid of sweet fruit and carefully layered savory oak.  A robust, full wine, Scarlet has a soft velvety feel with a subtle fresh flavor finish.

Founder's Reserve Georgia Essence de Cabernet
Medium to full-bodied dry red with velvety tannins and flavors of black currant, cassis and oak.

American Essence de Cabernet

A dry red with plum, black cherry, and oak flavors. This medium-bodied wine has fine tannins.

Cabernet Sauvignon, the most famous red variety of the Bordeaux region, has for centuries produced wines deep in color and rich in spicy aromas. Château Élan’s Essence de Cabernet is truly a unique wine.  Aged more than 10 months in French and American oak barrels, this robust, full-bodied wine is enjoyable now or may be cellared for approximately 7 years.
Founder's Reserve Georgia Merlot
A medium-bodied to dry red with fine tannins and flavors of plum, cherry, and oak.

American Merlot

Complex medium-bodied dry red wine with aromas of tobacco, cedar, and black pepper.

This Merlot has been aged in oak barrels to enhance its bouquet, and is excellent with cheeses, hearty dishes and red meats.

American Pinot Noir
Light, dry red with low tannins and flavors of cherries and violets.

It is a softer-styled wine with little tannins and only mild oak, which gives an elegant finish. This Pinot Noir drinks very nicely now, but may also be cellared for an exceptionally smooth taste.

Sangria
A festive, sweet wine with aromas of cherry, orange, oak, and wintergreen. Great in a punch bowl with orange slices.

Founder's Reserve Georgia Chambourcin

This light, dry red with low tannins has aromas of smoke and cherries.

Georgian Muscadines

Native only in the Southeast, the muscadine grape is characterized by heady rose and lemon aromas and was traditionally made into a sweet, low-alcohol wine. Château Élan has developed methods to harness and control these components, with the result being a light, fruity and uniquely Southern white wine.

Our Scuppernong variety of the muscadine grape, Vitis rotundifolia, is the most famous and oldest wine made in America.

Many nutritionists still find that natural remedies may be the best way to help fight and even prevent disease.  Scientists have found muscadine grapes are loaded with more healthy compounds than other much-touted foods such as blueberries, goji berries, green tea, red wine and dark chocolate. Muscadine grapes and their seeds are one of nature's best sources of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Compared to other grapes, muscadine grapes have 40 times more resveratrol -- the polyphenol, found in red wine that is proven to benefit cardiovascular health, blood sugar levels and the aging process, among other health issues.

Called "America's First Grape," muscadine grapes thrive in hot climates of the southeastern United States. This environment makes them unique in their ability to heal themselves from disease, bacteria and fungi.

Duncan Creek
The traditional muscadine grape wine.  Like drinking a muscadine grape - a sweet white wine with citrus aromas.

Spring Blossom
A delightful wine combining the distinctive flavor of muscadines and the delicate fruity flavors of fresh strawberries. This is the consummate picnic wine and is great with desserts. Best served chilled.

Summer Wine

Sweet muscadine wine with peach flavor. One of our most popular wines.

This award winner is a semisweet, light-bodied wine with the distinctive taste of muscadines synergized with the delicate flavors of fresh peaches. Its lively taste complements fruit salads, desserts and picnic fare, and is perfect for sipping on hot summer days as well as cold winter nights. Its unique and exceptional taste makes it Château Élan’s best seller. This is the perfect dessert wine, and is best served chilled.

Autumn Blush
This distinctive taste of muscadines combined with the delicate flavors of fresh raspberries is captured in this semisweet, light-bodied wine. Its refreshing taste complements cheeses, fruits and desserts. Best served chilled.

Winter Spice
While not truly a muscadine, this is a sweet red wine blend with flavors of cherries, pumpkin, cinnamon, and honey. A seasonal favorite.

A delightful wine that combines the hearty flavors of premium red wine and the fresh flavors of cinnamon spice and honey. Makes a great mulled wine during the winter holidays. Best served chilled as an aperitif. This wine is excellent with both hearty and light meals.
Fortified Wines

American Port
Sweet and high alcohol - flavors of maple, caramel, and chocolate make this a gold medal winning port.

American Port is a fortified wine originally only from the river region of Northern Portugal. The fermentation is halted early in the process by the addition of grape brandy, leaving the natural sweetness from the grape.

Château Élan’s exquisitely balanced port is a blend of port wines dating back over two decades. It is a wonderful complement to nuts, cheeses, dried fruit and chocolate, and is best served at room temperature.
