Spa Group Event FAQ

A Spa Group is a group of peo­ple who want to have appoint­ments blocked around the same time, dine together, and enjoy down-​time together at the Spa. Groups have one con­tact who coor­di­nates the event with the Spa Group Coor­di­na­tor and secure ser­vices with one method of payment.

Spa Events are often held to cel­e­brate Employee Appre­ci­a­tion Days, Cor­po­rate Events, Bridal Show­ers, Baby Show­ers, Birth­day Par­ties as well as reunions for friends or families.

Groups of guests who wish to sched­ule and secure ser­vices indi­vid­u­ally should book via cen­tral Reservations.

Group mem­bers will not have the option to sub­mit indi­vid­ual requests. All atten­dees must sub­mit requests via one des­ig­nated group con­tact. This con­tact will, in turn, relay the requests to the Spa Group Coor­di­na­tor at Chateau Elan who will arrange the Spa Event sched­ule. To ensure a flaw­less group event, only requests sub­mit­ted via the group’s rep­re­sen­ta­tive will be accepted by the Spa Group Coordinator.

We guar­an­tee a qual­i­fied ther­a­pist at the time of your appoint­ment. We book ser­vices with ther­a­pists based on their spe­cial­ties, there­fore, due to the lev­els of staffing on any given day, we do not guar­an­tee the gen­der of a therapist.

All ser­vices must be secured via one credit card or mas­ter account. Upon arrival, charges may be taken care of by the group or be paid for by the indi­vid­ual. Please note that in the event that a group mem­ber can­cels the ser­vice within the can­cel­la­tion pol­icy or does not come in for an appoint­ment for any rea­son, the method of pay­ment secur­ing all ser­vices (credit card or mas­ter account) will be charged.

The Spa accepts the fol­low­ing meth­ods of pay­ment for groups: Mas­ter Bill (A mas­ter account must be set up prior to your visit), Guest room charge, Credit Card (Credit Card Autho­riza­tion Form Required), Chateau Elan Gift Card (Must be pre­sented at the time ser­vices are ren­dered), Cash, or Busi­ness Check (Credit Card & Credit Card Autho­riza­tion Form required at the time of book­ing to secure services).

For your con­ve­nience, a 20% ser­vice charge and 7% sales tax will be applied to base prices listed on the web­site and on all literature.

We require a con­tract to be signed a min­i­mum of 10 days prior to your event. Up to 10 days prior to your event we can com­mu­ni­cate and make any changes to your block of appoint­ments, based on avail­abil­ity. All unwanted ser­vices must be released at the 10 day dead­line. After the 10 day dead­line, any remain­ing ser­vices blocked for your group are non-​cancelable and not change­able. Name changes will be accepted up to 72 hours prior to your event. All ser­vices booked within 10 days of an event are non-​cancelable and not changeable.

We rec­om­mend that all guests arrive at least 30 min­utes prior to their ser­vice time. This allows time for check­ing in, chang­ing into robe and slip­pers and mak­ing your way to a des­ig­nated wait­ing area 510 min­utes prior to the appoint­ment time.

Should you arrive late for your treat­ment, the treat­ment will be mod­i­fied to max­i­mize the remain­ing time with­out com­pro­mis­ing the next appoint­ment. Full rates will still apply in this instance.

For your use and enjoy­ment, please feel free to take advan­tage of our relax­ing ameni­ties which include: a Whirlpool Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam room, Fit­ness Cen­ter, as well as com­pli­men­tary Fit­ness Classes. Com­pli­men­tary after­noon tea is served daily in our din­ing room from 4:00pm — 5:30pm.

Com­fort­able clothes should be worn to the spa. If you intend to take advan­tage of the facil­i­ties, please remem­ber to bring work-​out clothes and shoes, as well as a swim­suit. While lock­ers are pro­vided, it is rec­om­mended that jew­elry and any other valu­ables be left at home. Com­pli­men­tary robe and slip­pers will be pro­vided for each guest dur­ing their time at the spa. If group atten­dees have gift cards please remind them to bring it to the Spa, as this will serve as the method of pay­ment for service(s). If you bring a cell phone, please remem­ber to turn it off dur­ing your visit to the Spa.

Yes. In fact, there is no med­ical or pro­fes­sional con­tra­dic­tion for per­form­ing mas­sage on a client who is preg­nant. As a pre­cau­tion, we at Chateau Elan have decided not to per­form mas­sage for clients in their 1st trimester. Treat­ments that are med­ically con­tra­dic­tive would be any treat­ment that raises the core body tem­per­a­ture, which is some­thing that is not rec­om­mended for any preg­nancy at any time. For exam­ple, we would not rec­om­mend the Herbal Linen Wrap or the Coconut Paraf­fin Body Masque to any of our preg­nant guests. Keep in mind that the hand treat­ment in facials or a warm towel on the feet will feel great and will not raise the core body tem­per­a­ture. Also, all of the prod­ucts used at the Spa are safe for preg­nant guests.

Due to the relax­ing nature of the Spa which is guar­an­teed to be an all adult envi­ron­ment no one under the age of 18 is per­mit­ted to use Spa facil­i­ties, stay at the spa or receive cer­tain treat­ments. Please see the A La Carte Spa Menu for the lim­ited selec­tion of treat­ments for teens.

From Atlanta, GA take I-​85 North to Exit 126 and turn left. Chateau Elan is the first entrance on the left. As you enter the resort, please take the first right turn and the Spa will be on the right.
